Cambrils is not next door to an industrial estate in Tarragona, and we will not pretend otherwise: Bollodromo is about 21 minutes by car from Cambrils, in Polígono Riu-Clar. People make the drive for what is at the end of it: competition racks, deadlift platforms and calibrated plates in a room built for strength training, open around the clock, with a €15 day pass and no membership needed.
Getting here from Cambrils
Roughly 23 km, about 21 minutes. Take the AP-7, which is toll-free, or the N-340 towards Tarragona and come off for Polígono Riu-Clar, Calle Granit 16, Nave 1. Parking is free at the door. Without a car, a taxi is the simplest option: the gym is on an industrial estate, not in a town centre.
Making the drive worth it
From Cambrils it makes more sense to come for one long session than for a quick one. The pass is valid for the whole day, so there is no clock running once you are here. Training several times over a fortnight? Message us on WhatsApp with your dates.
What kind of gym this is
A strength and powerlifting gym, not a fitness club. There are no classes, no pool and no spa: the space goes on racks, platforms, bars, dumbbells and machines. If you want a treadmill and a sauna, a hotel will serve you better. If you want to squat, bench and deadlift properly while you are away, you are in the right place. More on the powerlifting side.
